If you love the idea of loose leaf tea but think it’s just too much hard work, then we’re here to tell you it’s not!
You don’t have to use a teapot or fancy tea stick or novelty strainer, instead try a simple mug strainer. We have several to choose from – stainless steel mug strainer, German mug strainer, desktop mug strainer. All are very easy to use and come with a lid or base which can then be used to place your mug strainer on when your tea is finished brewing.
So if you’re one of those people who opt for a tea bag, but would like to be one who enjoys a quality loose leaf tea instead, then do yourself a favour and try using a mug strainer. You simply place the mug strainer in your cup or mug, add a slightly heaped teaspoon of your loose leaf tea, allow to brew for the recommended time, lift the strainer out of your cup or mug and drain slightly before placing it on the lid or base provided to catch the rest of the drips. It honestly can’t get much easier than using a mug strainer! And if you’re a green tea drinker you can save your tea leaves to reuse a couple more times that day – bonus!
A mug strainer is not only easy to use but is also easy to clean, and discarding the used leaves is as simple as turning it upside down, giving it a couple of taps over the bin and then a quick rinse under the faucet and you’re ready to go again. A quick wash in warm soapy water is recommended for a more thorough clean at the end of the day.
They’re great for work, that quick cuppa at home or even whilst travelling. So brewing a cup of good quality loose leaf tea just got a whole lot easier!
