What’s the new tea?
Trends come and go, although our gourmet tea blends always make for a timeless brew! Recently, The Tea Centre has seen a spike in sales of our holistic Ayurveda blends and other tisanes composed of traditional Eastern medicinal herbs. The Australian consumer has also become increasingly knowledgeable about food provenance, and we see this trend play out in the popularity of our organic tea collection. Colourful wellbeing teas like Ginger Kiss and Bohemian Blue add a touch of fun to the lives of sippers; a trend we’re certain will become increasingly mainstream in the next couple of years!
What are the most popular flavours?
Sometimes what’s new are traditional teas making a comeback! Black tea continues to be the most popular choice the world over, with Darjeelings and English Breakfast often vying for first place. Also making waves are trendy-come-mainstream brews like matcha and chai. Herbal-wise, chamomile reigns supreme, and jasmine green tea is another popular choice. And of course, what’s a list of most popular tea flavour with a honourable mention for Earl Grey?
How do you brew a cup of tea?
How to make a brew-tiful cup of tea depends on what tea type your latest release falls in! Once you’ve figured that out, you can use our comprehensive brewing guide here to make your next perfect cup of tea.
Making a pot or a cup of tea using loose leaves is not as hard as it sounds, with easy-to-use infusers and strainers available. However, if you are looking for a quicker alternative, we do also offer a range of teas in biodegradable pyramid tea bags, including black tea bags, green tea bags and herbal tea bags.
