The Tea Centre’s glassware is largely hand-blown by master glassmakers. Because of this, the exteriors of our glass teapots are quite thin, making them nice and light to handle. Although glassware may not retain heat as well as stainless steel teaware or traditional teaware, they are advantageous when it comes to checking on your brew during the infusion process. Therefore, glassware makes it easier to brew the perfect cuppa every time. In fact, many herbal tisane drinkers prefer to serve from glass teapots and glass cups for this very reason.

Porcelain: beautiful pure white colour and a convenient material for teaware. Used to be very delicate but is now much more durable

Bone china: Developed in England by combining porcelain and bone ash. Considered more durable than regular porcelain
