Tea enthusiasts, meet Dimakusi Assam—our strongest, most gutsy black tea to date! Sourced from the Dimakusi estate in Assam, India, this single-origin tea boasts a broken orange pekoe (BOP) grading. It’s also processed using the crush, tear, curl (CTC) method. The broken leaves (BOP) produce a rich, malty brew that’s perfect for those who love a bold cup of black tea. Enjoyable on its own or with a splash of milk for extra creaminess.
The Dimakusi Tea Estate garden has been producing some of the world’s finest tea leaves since 1900. Our broken tea leaves are then transported to Germany where they are refined to perfection and undergo strict quality testing in accordance with the European Union’s Code of Practice for Quality Control. This single origin tea also has a unique appearance, as the broken tea leaves are rolled into tight balls during the manufacturing process. These balls then burst open and unfurl to release maximum flavour when brewed.
