Toast your teacups to this undeniably tippy tea! Our Dhelakhat Assam is comprised of single-origin tea leaves harvested from the Dhelakhat Tea Estate in Upper Assam, Northeast India. This estate’s unique growing conditions produce tea leaves that carry Assam’s signature malty flavour plus a slight uptick in sweetness. Our Dhelakhat tea also boasts a pleasant, lingering mouthfeel. This is partly thanks to the loose leaf’s premium Tippy Golden Floral Orange Pekoe (TGFOP) grading. A medium-bodied tea that’s perfect as a morning cuppa or when combating an afternoon slump. Perfect by itself or with a splash of milk.

This tea gets its smooth tones from its TGFOP blend of medium-sized leaves with leading shoots. You can read more about different single-origin tea grades here. The Dhelakhat Tea Estate has been producing some of India’s most phenomenal orthodox loose leaf teas since the early 1900s. You can taste the tradition and tea mastery in every cup! These Assam leaves are then transported to Germany where they undergo strict quality testing in accordance with the European Union’s Code of Practice for Quality Control.
