DIMBULA HIGHLAND TEA — ORGANIC CEYLON BLACK TEA
There’s a lot to love about organic Ceylon Dimbula Highland tea. This is a bright-tasting, brisk, and full-bodied brew that sports a first flush orange pekoe (OP-1) tea grading. This tea comes from the Dimbula tea-growing region in Sri Lanka. As a result, this high-grown tea boasts the Ceylon tea region’s famous large tea leaves and strong flowery notes. Ideal on its own or with a splash of milk.
As well as producing unique tea leaves that sport refreshing fruit notes, Ceylon Dimbula comes from plantations in the central mountains that lie 1200-1800 above sea level. Moreover, monsoon rains from August–September give Dimbula tea plants a good drenching, resulting in strong aroma and flavourful leaves upon the spring harvest (February–April dry month). This tea is also organic. This ensures that sipping on Dimbula is—at every level—something you can feel good about!
