EAST INDIA EARL GREY — CHAI-INSPIRED BLACK TEA
The Tea Centre’s classic Earl Grey coupled with an enticing infusion of traditional Indian spices. East India Earl Grey employs piney cardamom and zesty orange peel (in combination with quintessential bergamot oil) to create a truly tempting tea. Enjoyable on its own, with milk, a drizzle of honey, or even with a slice of lemon! Particularly soothing during winter and delectable at any time of day.
This blend is evidence that citrusy bergamot oil marries well with Ayurveda ingredients like cardamom and orange peel. Specifically, cardamom is considered a tridoshic in Ayurveda. This means that cardamom is a warming spice thought to contain a balance of all three doshas (kapha, pitta, and vata). Therefore, even sippers who don’t know much about their own prakriti (internal constitution of doshas) may take some benefits from this blend. Moreover, this Earl Grey contains caffeine due to its black tea base. This makes a great transitional choice for those making the switch from coffee to tea.
If you love this fusion, you’ll be happy to know that The Tea Centre stocks an entire collection of Earl Grey teas! Explore the range here. Alternatively, your taste buds may prefer our chai collection or expansive array of black tea fusions here.
