KEEMUN FINEST TEA
From the Jiangxi province in China comes one of the world’s finest black teas. Keemun Finest derives its name from the Westernized pronunciation of the city Qimen where Keemun loose leaf was originally grown. This variety hails from the Fuliang County (Jiangxi) and carries the smoky tasting notes unique to this tea-growing region. Keemun is also commonly described as having a gentle, albeit slightly malty mouthfeel. This pairs well with the black tea’s characteristic stone fruit top notes and flowery aroma. Ideal on its own during any time of day.
Producing a brilliant red hue when brewed, this Keemun black tea further boasts a Mao Feng grading. This is a tea grading reserved only for Chinese black teas containing superior loose leaves. Keemun leaves are quite wiry and have a tightly twisted appearance. When brewed, these leaves unfurl beautifully and infuse the water with its delicate flavour. In addition, Keemun is certified organic in accordance with the European Union’s strict standards. They are the world’s foremost leaders in organic certification, so you can rest assured that our Keemun is a quality tea in every way.
