LUNG CHING GRADE 3 (DRAGONWELL / LONGJING) — FAMOUS CHINESE GREEN TEA
Unlike our premium Lung Ching Grade 1, Lung Ching Grade 3 is a stronger variant of the famous Chinese green tea from Zhejiang province. The flatter quality of the pan-roasted green tea leaves generates third-grade Dragonwell tea’s richer taste and full-bodied character. Ideal on its own and enjoyable throughout the day.
Dragonwell light teas (also known as Longjing light teas) have a long and fantastic history. This high-quality green tea grows on the hills around the old city of Hangzhou, which lies on the Yangzi River delta. Historically, the ancient temples around Hangzhou became famous for their tea plantations during the Ming Dynasty. To this day, tea connoisseurs pilgrimage to Hangzhou to drink Lung Ching made using water from the famous Hupao (‘Tiger Spring’) that lies near the tea plantations.
