Plucked by hand from the very tip of the camellia Sinensis tea plant. Pai Mu Tan tea is a classic, traditional Chinese blend that is specifically made from only the top leaf shoot and the plant’s two youngest tea leaves. This results in a white tea that boasts only the finest large leaves and stems. In turn, this blend offers a crisp earthy flavour with smooth floral hints. Also referred to as Bai Mu Dan or White Peony tea due to its stunning pale gold appearance and silky taste. Hailing from the mountains in the Fujian province, this white tea is akin to spring in a cup. It has an exquisite pale gold colour when brewed and evokes the aroma of peony when poured.
