A refreshingly brisk aroma accompanies this bright green tea! The kneaded loose leaves come from Shizuoka, a prefecture that’s famous for producing the highest-quality Japanese green tea. The prefecture’s elevated terroir is perfect for cultivating sencha. Moreover, thanks to its close proximity to Mt. Fuji, the sencha that grows in Shizuoka reaps the benefits of the nutrient-rich soil. Furthermore, the mountain’s water run-off is similarly bursting with natural minerals. In turn, these minerals filter into the region’s tea plantations.
