This spice-spiked bush blend reimagines chai with a peppering of native aniseed myrtle. The Tea Centre is proud to include Spiced Wattleseed black tea in our Australian Botanical Tea collection, sourced from the most pristine place on earth…home. Acclimate to this acacia-fuelled chai first thing in the morning or during a long wurrgeng night. Particularly delectable with milk and sugar.
Where India traditionally simmers, The Tea Centre tempers with fire. In the height of summer, our farmers’ husk ripe seed pods and parch the wattleseeds inside over open flame. After cooling, threshing and sieving, we churn the seeds with pungent pepperberry, sweet aniseed, and Daintree black tea to create a blend that envelops the palate with exquisite chai flavour.
Having withstood 4,000 years of floods and droughts, wattleseed is the flower we imbibe when seeking resilience and strength. Experience all that and more in this bold cup of tea.
