TC First Flush Darjeeling (FTGFOP1) is the Darjeeling connoisseur’s favourite flush.  This harmonic blend from different gardens in India’s Darjeeling district is an incredibly refreshing tea. Spring rains give this first flush loose leaf sparkling notes of black tea flavour plus a light amber appearance and aroma. Ideal on its own at any time of day.

What makes first flush tea so good? Unlike our Second Flush Darjeeling, this loose leaf comes from the first spring harvest of crops (from March to May). Our Darjeeling’s FTGFOP1 tea grading denotes how only the youngest tender buds of the tea plant make up this tea. Moreover, our suppliers in India harvest these buds using the orthodox method—all finely plucked by hand!

As for packaging, our wholesale tin is tall, elegant and boasts a 100-gram capacity. It also carries a sticker label that makes it easy to locate in a crowded kitchen thanks to its gold accents. The labels also pair perfectly with our wholesale tin’s gold tinplate lid, embossed with The Tea Centre’s logo.
