There’s nothing cosier than curling up with a warm mug of traditional stovetop chai on a chilly evening.
Drawing from the traditional Indian custom, this chai stovetop recipe is an incredible infusion of black tea, spices and milk.

You will need:
- 2 heaped teaspoons of loose leaf chai
Try Mumbai Chai or Masala Chai - 250ml water
- 250ml milk of choice
- 1 dollop of honey
- 1 chai brewing pot (or small saucepan)
- 1 strainer
Step 1:
Pour about 250ml water into your chai brewing pot or small saucepan.
Step 2:
Scoop two heaped teaspoons of your Tea Centre chai of choice into the water.
Step 3:
Bring the mixture to a simmer on medium heat.
Step 4:
Next, add 250ml of milk and bring the mixture to a simmer again.
Step 5:
Simmer for at least five minutes before turning off the heat.
Step 6:
Pour the mixture through a strainer into your mug.
Step 7:
Stir in a dollop of honey to taste. Enjoy!
