A delicious blend of tea, spice and milk, chai is a warm and wonderful tea tradition enjoyed the world over. Still the original home of chai, India has a myriad of street vendors selling their brews on every street corner. Draw inspiration from these expert chai wallahs and brew up a pot of chai from home. A slow stovetop simmer will release incredible spicy flavours and creamy sweetness.

TAKES 15 MINUTES
- Loose leaf chai (2 – 3 tsp)try Vanilla Chai
- Water (1 mug)
- Milk (1 mug)
- Honey or sugar
- Medium saucepan
- Strainer
- Pour water into a saucepan
- Scoop in your Tea Centre chai
- Bring mixture to a simmer on medium heat
- Next add the mug of milk and bring to simmer again
- Simmer for at least 5 minutes before turning off heat
- Stir in a dollop of honey or sugar
- Pour mixture through strainer into mugs
- Enjoy!
