The Tea Centre offers wholesale rates on loose leaf tea to restaurants, cafes, hotels, day spas, catering companies, and conference venues. If you’re after tea gifting instead, find out more on our corporate page here.

Our wholesale rates are supplied under the agreement that the purchased teas will be served as ready-to-consume tea to your customers. Our teas are not to be resold or re-branded as a loose leaf product. To receive our wholesale pricing you must register for a wholesale account. We will review your application and approve eligible accounts as quickly as possible.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not typically offer wholesale discounts on accessories, tea bag tins, matcha or tea balls.

What perks do The Tea Centre’s wholesale customers receive?

All of The Tea Centre’s wholesale customers are entitled to a percentage discount off our 150+ loose leaf tea and tea bags refill carton range! As a bespoke wholesale service, The Tea Centre is also open to customising wholesale accounts based on the needs of the customers.

Therefore, if you’re hoping to receive bulk wholesale pricing on products outside of our loose leaf or tea bag carton range (i.e. teawares), please contact The Tea Centre directly on [email protected]

Furthermore, wholesale customers also have the opportunity to purchase 250-gram wholesale tea tins (see image above). This is organised via email upon approval of your wholesale application.

What is my minimum wholesale purchase value?

Wholesale customers must purchase a minimum 250-grams of an individual loose leaf tea or one tea bag refill carton in order for their discount to apply.

What does my wholesale discount apply to?

Wholesale discount applies to The Tea Centre’s range of loose leaf tea (excluding matcha powder) and tea bag refill cartons. 

Unless negotiated otherwise with The Tea Centre, wholesale discounts do not apply to The Tea Centre’s gift sets, gift tin items, teawares, pantry items, blooming tea balls, and Turkish Apple tins.

What is the wholesale application process?

Upon submitting your wholesale application form, you will receive a reply email detailing whether your application has been approved, pending more information, or declined. 

If approved, the email will also include your login information. If you don’t receive an email, please get in touch with customer service at [email protected].

My wholesale account has just been approved! How do I log in?

To sign into your online wholesale account, click the “LOGIN/REGISTER” button on the top-right corner of The Tea Centre’s website and enter your login details. 

Your login details are the same ones that you created when filling out the submission form above.

I’ve forgotten my wholesale account login details!

That’s okay! If you’ve lost your password, enter your nominated email address here and we will generate a new password that will be sent to your inbox.

How do I apply my wholesale discount online?

When you login to your wholesale account, please note that items will still appear with their RRP value. The wholesale discount applies automatically at checkout (i.e. it does not appear as you are shopping and adding items to your cart).

How long does the wholesale order take to process?

Our wholesale packing team works Mondays to Fridays, and orders are generally dispatched within 13 business days. We use Australia Post for deliveries. The following table provides a general estimate of standard service delivery times.

How do I track my wholesale order?

All Tea Centre orders come with delivery tracking courtesy of Shippit! Expect to receive an email with tracking information soon after completing your order.

Can I pick-up/put a wholesale order through a store?

Yes, you can! If you would prefer to call and collect wholesale orders through our friendly in-store team, be sure to get in touch with your local store here

Please note that you will have to show your business credentials (i.e. ABN) and undergo a manual approval process that may take 13 business days. 

In-store wholesale customers will not receive an online wholesale account unless they specifically ask for one.

I need to update my wholesale account details.

Not a problem! Simply login to your online wholesale account, hover your account name in the top-right corner of The Tea Centre’s website, and click “account details” to update your information.

      Our online store is solely dispatched via mail, as it is send directly from our warehouse. If you wish for your order to be picked up from Townsville please contact that store directly. Please let me know if you need anything else.

      Thanks for reaching out :). We do not offer indiviually wrapped teabags, sorry. The closest thing on offer is small 50g bags of any loose leaf tea we stock. Please let us know if you would like to proceed.
